Eligible courses
Education loans offered by the Lord Krishna Bank are of two categories.

Category 1:

Courses leading to graduation in job oriented professional\ technical courses offered by reputed universities and postgraduation like MCA, MBA, MS.

 
Category 2:

Courses conducted by CIMA-London, CPA in USA etc. Expenses required to complete the course including Travel expenses\passage money for studies abroad except Capitation for and donations are not eligible
 


Amount of Loan
Maximum loan Rs 5 lakhs for studies in India and upto Rs. 10 lakhs for overseas studies. Loan amount is need based and subject to repaying capacity of the parents\students.


Margin
       Loan upto Rs. 4 lakhs    :    Nil.  
       Loan above Rs. 4 lakhs :    15%. for Overseas
                                                  studies while 5% for
                                                  study in India.


Rate of Interest
        Upto Rs. 4lakhs                     :      PLR (14 percent).
        For amount exceeding           :     PLR+l percent (15
          Rs. 4lakhs                                     percent).

For Loans upto and including Rs. 25000, no penal charges are to be made.


Repayment Holiday
Course period+1 year or six months after getting job whichever is earlier. Loan is to be repaid within a period of five to seven years after commencement of repayment.
